Maybe you can find the answer is in our quick snip bullet points ......

  • Our Course is full time. It normally runs Tuesday to Friday for 5 weeks, minimum of 20 days
  • Due to the nature of the "hands-on" syllabus, within a busy grooming salon, no weekend or evening courses are available.

  • We recommend doing a Taster Day {described below} prior to booking a full course. This will cost €100 but is deducted off any course subsequently booked.

It is recommended that a prospective student participates in a trial or “Taster Day”

This consists of a full day spent in the busy grooming salon.
“Just to make sure it is all you dreamed it would be and that you can tolerate the hairy environment and the “glamour” end of dog grooming as a career !” Also it gives us a chance to meet each other and see whether we can work together to help you in your chosen occupation.

A taster day costs €100 which can then be deducted from any subsequent course booking.
This course offers the aspiring groomer an idea of what is ahead. The basic skills needed to either start their own grooming salon, get employment in a salon or to continue further training to specialise in certain areas .
