Dog Groomers' Assistant including City and Guilds/ NPTC Level 2
Three Weeks with a four day week making a total of 12 days in salon.
The City and Guilds Qualification in Dog Grooming has undergone a revamp in the past year and the new layout makes it more accessible to everyone. It is not mandatory to complete the City and Guilds Level 2 before the Introductory Level 3 but the new format gives people the option. With the Level 2 you would be a good 'junior' on a team preparing the dogs for the stylists. From registration you have three years to work your way through to the Diploma.
You now have the option to take a three week course and to complete the Groomers Assistant level 2 during this time. Be aware though there are Written Assignments that you need to put together for your Portfolio. To allow for this we will still work to to the four day week for the three weeks.
